This splendid Grade 1 cruciform church was built c1360 for the Bonshommes
by William of Edington, Bishop of Winchester. Inside there are 17th century
maroon and white plaster roofs in the nave and tower crossing, 18th century
plaster work in the chancel, 17th century woodwork, some medieval stained
glass and many splendid monuments, both medieval and later.
